Salted Caramel Smoothie Bowl

This recipe is one of those that made my heart skip a beat… I myself did not expect it to be this delicious.Maka powder, my latest discovery and obsession, gives that delicious caramel-like flavour. It has an amazing effect on hormone balance and energy levels – so this smoothie is a morning must for us, ladies. Make this smoothie bowl if you love salted caramel, and fall in love.

5 pitted dates 

2 tsp of Indigo Herbs Organic Maca Powder 

1/2 scoop of chocolate protein 

1 tbsp of almond/peanut butter 

1/5 banana 

1 cup of unsweetened almond milk or (better) hazelnut milk

a pinch of Pink Himalayan salt or (better) Fleur de Sel 

Optional Toppings, mine are: golden berries, Indigo Herbs Organic Cashews, Indigo Herbs Bee Pollen Grans 

  1. Blend all the ingredients up until salt together
  2. Pour in a bowl and top with the toppings of your choice
  3. Add a pinch of salt on top. Enjoy!
